For Sloan's birthday I surprised him with a trip to Lhasa and Everest. It has always been one of his lifetime goals to see Everest face-to-face and now he can say he has. He traveled several days to get to base camp where he stayed overnight in a yak-wool tent. It was so cold that when he walked from his tent up to base camp his water bottle froze! He said Tibet was the most interesting, different and unique place he has ever been. Here are a few pictures from his trip. He is going to put all of his pics on his facebook if you want to see more.
