The 4th of July

We were blessed to spend this 4th in a good ol' American fashion. A local (American) restaurant owner had a celebration in honor of our country's 230 year birthday. They provided chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and everyone brought a side dish or dessert. There were about 50 people there and we fellowshipped and played games. In the picture you can see Sloan got roped into a six legged man race. His team ended up winning so that made it even better. :) I was just really glad no one killed themselves. It was a great night, I never would have thought we could celebrate the 4th in mainland China. It definitely helped us feel not so far away from home.
