Aria Update

Everyday it seems Ari is doing something new. A new laugh, sound or trick. She has been waving bye-bye for a while but has recently perfected the skill, waving at anyone or anything...the people on the bus, pictures on the wall or Tully our dog. She also started clapping and drinking from her sippy cup. We find our sevles saying YEA! about 100 times a day to try to get her to clap. She still isn't close to crawling or walking though, which is fine with me. I enjoy being able to sit her in one place and know she will be in the same place when I return. Her favortie toys, hands down are a cell phone or water bottle. It doesn't matter what we put in front of her, she will always go for one of those. Guess we didn't need to haul all of those toys around the world after all. She loves to eat and still never misses a meal. We have recently added tofu, zucchini, peaches and plums to her diet but her favorite is still the sweet potato. She can't get enough of them! When I feed her (this only happens with sweet potatoes) she fusses between each bite because I can't put them in her mouth fast enough. It's so funny. She also loves to give hugs which is my most favorite thing ever. We will be playing and she will just stop and give me a big hug and then keep on playing, it just melts my heart. She can be pretty independent, but when she wants to she is the sweetest cuddle bug in the world. Guess that is all right now in Ari's world, thanks so much for checking in.
